Melissa Mular is an Executive for a Fortune 50 technology and consulting company who has lived in Sandy Springs, Georgia for 22 years, relocating to the area from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for her job. She initially lived in a single family home in the North Springs neighborhood and currently lives in the townhome community of Autumn Chace after her amicable divorce from her college sweetheart of almost 18 years.
Melissa’s roots are humble - born to a single mother in the mid-1960s when single parent homes were uncommon. She lost her mother when she was 18 and she has very close bonds with her Aunts, Uncles, and their children. Growing up, Melissa was encouraged to work hard, stay focused, and earn a college education which led her to earn three degrees; with the highest level being a Master’s Degree from Duquesne University with concentrations in Business Management and Marketing. Her undergraduate degrees are in Computer Science from Penn State University and Management Information Systems from Duquesne University. She also holds five active professional certifications.
Melissa is a certified Project Manager with a strong work ethic who is known for listening to her customers and meeting their expectations.
She has managed and led large, global organizations providing multi-million dollar consulting and technology services to Fortune 100 companies. Melissa is detail-oriented and can quickly assess problems and implement plans that lead to improved customer satisfaction.
Since moving to Autumn Chace in 2011, Melissa has been active in the community’s HOA, serving in multiple board and committee positions including President. In these roles, she has responded to and addressed resident concerns, created and managed a $900,000-plus annual budget, and oversaw the infrastructure support for 172 Townhomes on a 20-acre property. Melissa has represented her HOA interests in re-zoning applications and roadway improvement projects that have impacted her community.
Melissa is a consistent donor to both animal and human welfare charity organizations and for the last five years has qualified for the Chairman’s Circle for charitable giving for her employer. Her current dogs were adopted as adults from two of Melissa’s favorite charities - the Atlanta Lab Rescue and LifeLine Animal Project (DeKalb County Animal Shelter). In the past, she has also adopted from the Fulton County Animal Shelter as well as taken in neighborhood strays. In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, bicycling, and walking her dogs at the Big Trees Forest Preserve.
